Reduce upgrade to fewer steps

I fall for this trap repeatedly.

Steps to upgrade Discourse:

  1. Visit the admin page. Click the “click here to upgrade” link.
  2. Now on the admin/upgrade page, click the button for the desired item to upgrade, or click the “upgrade all” button to update all items.
  3. Go to another browser tab or app, or walk away from desk entirely, with assumption and faith that the upgrade(s) began.
  4. Return to the browser tab and realize I was supposed to click the upgrade button(s) yet another time (why?). Click now and wait again.

Couldn’t the last steps be collapsed into one? Is there a reason to make me click everything twice?
