Remove inboxes from "Messages" in sidebar

I notice I have many empty inboxes (TL0,TL1,TL2,mods, staff, admin) all visible in my sidebar. How can I pick which one to see in my sidebar (better said, how to remove them from my sidebar?)

EDIT: I wish the composer showed me this, but related did (after I posted):

So to answer this for reference:

The inbox needs to be empty, including the archive. Then wait max. 12 hrs or:
