Reply to a specific messages within a thread

when people chat within the thread, they cannot reply to a specific message. I mean I understand a “reply” will become a “thread”. However, within a thread, we can allow user to do a classic reply function , that would be then a very nice feature.

Hi Dave, thanks for highlighting this feature. Actually I would like to feedback the the majority of our user would like to this feature, it is the lacking of this feature that we turned off the current thread mode. we are looking forward the team’s opinion or design to address this issue. thanks
