Report + PM should enable edit

I disabled edits (more than a few hours after posted) to low TLs and I suggest in our community to use the flag to report if there’s something that can be improved on topics or threads.

I pressed the flag to warn a new user about the lack of content on his message but he says it stills can’t edit the topic, after I send a PM within ‘flag to report and warn’ behavior.

What’s the purpose of ‘report and send message’ if not allow the user to edit and fix the mistake?

Unfortunately, due to limitations, when new users cannot edit posts, and it lacks content, there is no way to change that.

It would be a good idea because it would allow new users to fix mistakes of editing permissions are disabled.
