I’m not sure if this is a test, but please revert back to the old/default one. I like having topics and categories in one, just having categories or just having topics kinda defeats the purpose of a homepage.

it is normal. it’s just a setting 
same as one i showed you but it’s set to boxes with subcategories

I am aware it is a setting, but from a UX perspective it’s a nightmare, it’s a huge waste of space.

I can confirm that the design team is looking into giving Meta some love 
There may be a few more tweaks and try-outs while they test things, but we’ll try and keep it as unobtrusive as possible until the revamp is finalised. 
I’ll feed back the feedback though.

Is this why the order of buttons is also different? It probably makes more sense but it’s also making me crazy
