Search engine less efficient on certain terms?

Hi guys !

Someone on my forum reported an issue with the search engine. It doesn’t concern much terms which is a bit weird.

Let’s take the example we have the search for politique seems to be stuck with the first three letters (POL) and don’t put the topic Politique in the first result (it’s 6th), instead it’s making Pologne (for Poland) more relevent.

All my “Search” options are on the default config.

(Bonus : when I used the tag emphasis on a link, the rendering doesn’t work well.)

Little update, it seems fixed. I noticed some work on the search engine lately, must be it

Pretty sure it was the same issue. We were using the stemmer for the query terms and that was a bad idea.
