Search for open, untagged topics in a category

Is there a way using search to find all topics in a category that are open and have no tags?

I’m thinking something like this: “#category status:open tags:none”

But the “tags:none” part doesn’t work, of course.

Suggestions?

If the proposed solution isn’t good enough you can use the data explorer plugin.
