But our version of Discourse has private messaging disabled. I don’t think this text should be included when you can’t actually private message anyone.

The simplest solution would be to edit the text on your community. I agree we should use different text here when PMs are disabled. There’s likely other similar text that mention PMs too - I wonder if there’s an easy way to fix all of them.
