This is a known issue with posts created via the RSS plugin and posts embedded with javascript. It has to do with the way that Discourse parses the HTML from an external site. Hopefully this can be improved.
You can probably fix the issue with lists by configuring your Discourse site’s allowed embed selectors site setting: Configure the Allowed Embed Selectors Setting.
