Skipped Email reasons

In the Skipped Email Logs I am seeing the Skipped Reason as being ‘post has been deleted’.

I cannot find any documentation on this. Someone has suggested that this could be due to a post being edited before all of the notification emails have been sent out so the remaining outgoing emails are deleted. I do not however see a repost of the email with the ‘new/edited’ post.

Can someone please confirm what is going on here and what situations would cause this Skipped Reason.

The ‘post has been deleted’ skipped reason is displayed if the post that the email would have been sent for is deleted within the time set by your email time window mins site setting (for regular posts) or your personal email time window seconds site setting (for personal messages.)
