Spamming via edit grace periods?

I see a new behavior for those that want to spam.
They try to write some good stuff at the beginning. then after a while they come back and edit their good stuff and add spam links. How can I automatically detect such behavior?

You can use the editing grace period and/or post edit time limit site settings to help. Also, searching for edit in your site settings and looking through the Posting section should give you other ways to handle this, like making edits publicly available so your community can flag said posts and help reduce the actions fo the spammers.

Note that low trust level users have a very limited time window to edit their old posts per Discourse defaults, unless you have changed the defaults. We don’t see this kind of spamming much since we made that change.
