Split topic posts appearing as not having been visited

Have the same problem. It has minor impact but it is perpetually annoying on every Latest view.

The problem arose when I split a topic as also reported in:

Split topics don't get "read" styling in list

I believe this is related to: The topic doesn’t show up in my “unread” list, but it doesn’t get the “read” styling in the list – that is, its title is still displayed in black, rather than the expected light grey. It’s not a major issue, but it does make the inbox-zero perfectionist in me twitch.

However, I didn’t have this problem when I split a topic week earlier.

This was apparently fixed so it might be a regression:

"USER split this topic" makes topic forever "un-visited"
