SSO Default Avatars

Recently, I was browsing through the settings when I came across the sso overrides avatar setting.

If I enable this, but still allow users to upload their own avatars, will the SSO avatar be the “default” until one is set? If not, is there a way to do this?

The avatar provided in the SSO payload will be considered an uploaded avatar.
