Would it be possible to use this plugin to allow users to authenticate from a WordPress site running this WP plugin?

I don’t want to go full SSO, but this would hypothetically allow users who are signed up through WP to login and authenticate into Discourse.

Ask them that by email and point them to this topic. They should be able to tell you if what this plugin provides will suffice.
