Is it possible to authenticate a Wordpress login via Discourse?

Hi everyone,

I am currently working on an app that requires data to be pulled from both a Woocommerce website as well as Discourse. As a result, I need some way, if possible, to be able to have a single sign in that will provide me with the users Wordpress information, which I can currently get from a plugin hooked up to the client’s Wordpress website as well as user discourse information. I was told that Discourse had something that could potentially help with that, but I’m not really sure where to find it. Is this possible and, if so, any advice?

@Thomas_Bergen Yep, definitely possible. We use Wordpress as the SSO agent for our entire Community and between the plug-in mentioned above and Discourse’s incredible API we’ve had no problems, it’s worked very well.
