Tag change color for element in a Tag group

Hey community, I have a tag group named New idea status that contains different tags ( Open, Planned, in-progress…)
I would love to bold and color each tag so it shows which status the topic is or add next to the tag an icon, is there is a way to do that?

I have tried to play with the CSS but it did not find the correct class

You can add icons using the Tag Icons theme component.
