Hi there – I’m one of the contributors over at hugo’s discussion forum, and just wanted to drop by and say how much I enjoy using Discourse.
I think one of the things that make hugo great is its community – which wouldn’t be possible without awesome forum software 
I end up posting a lot of code snippets, both inline and block, so using markdown to format these is quite nice. It also makes replying from my phone fun (instead of a chore).
