Hi, the developers I’m hiring are telling me they run into this error when trying to update the forum. How can this be fixed? Many thanks, Torsten
This doesn’t look like a Discourse-related issue.
That error sits between your VPS/the VPS providers network and Github, I would probably start by asking whoever hosts the server why they can’t resolve that address. It could be something as simple as DNS, but this isn’t really the place to get help with that.

That OS is going to reach end of life in a couple of months.
I’d get a new VM.
You can see in your screen shot that there is an error even before you get a prompt.
If your developers and hosting provider can’t fix this you should probably replace at least one of them.
