Unable to change a domain

Hi there! I’ve completed all the necessary steps to transfer my website to a new domain, but I can’t seem to get it working.

The registration process is done, but it says there’s an issue with the DNS configuration on my end. However, when I check GoDaddy (where I purchased the domain), it shows that the domain is forwarding correctly.

I’m not sure what to do next to fix this. Could you help me figure out the problem?

Also when it comes to DNS configuration, it doesn’t allow me to choose TLL automatic like it shown on the instruction.

www.southafricaforum.co.za doesn’t exists (have you done A record for www?) and southafricaforum.co.za will redirect really slow to www.southafrica-forum.com. Which one is right?

Just as a heads-up, as a hosted customer you can also contact the customer support team directly at team@discourse.org. :+1:

Asking the community can be great for lots of things, but it’s nice to know there’s also a channel for dedicated support if you need it.

Also some potentially useful guides:

Configure your domain name for hosted Discourse

Configure your hosted Discourse site to run at the root or apex domain (e.g. example.com)
