Upcoming events shown participants

Are there any components listing participants of upcoming events?

I’ve searched Event List Widget， which can show event participants. But Layout Plugin is marked as broken.

As said by @merefield himself in the Layout Plugin topic, there is a potential theme component replacement. I’ve mentioned him as he’ll be able to give you more guidance here I think.
