Upgrade to stable versions only

I am running 3.1.0.beta2
is there any way to force the recommended upgrade versions to stable releases only please?

You can change your app.yml from tests-passed to stable, then upgrade once 3.1 arrives, but there’s no means to downgrade. You’re at 3.0b2 until the next stable release is greater than that number.

Remember that stable doesn’t mean less bugs, only less change.
