That is a huge topic. I’m not going to scan the whole thing, but I see the notifications and wonder “Is there a wiki post that is the real cause?”

There is no wiki post in that thread.
Posts to which notifications link are written by other users, usually just a normal posts with no response/quote or otherwise connection to user who reports it.
Edit: I also got a clarification that this bug happens when reporting user is in the thread. But doesn’t when he is offline.
Should be fixed in the next couple of days. There’s already a PR for it.
