We recently launched a Discourse message board for our site, and our users use SSO to log in to the Forum. Our site (not on the Discourse side) has several features for our users including posting jobs and projects, and our users can hire and pay each other for services, all through our platform. Our users can also send messages to each other.
Question: Is there any way we can just use the Discourse private messaging feature between users to replace messaging on the site - that is, have the Discourse message button able to be used off of the Discourse pages?
Apologies in advance if this question is totally off-base or has been addressed elsewhere, or could otherwise be clarified. Any help or guidance is very much appreciated.
