Is it by design that this happens? When you make a topic a banner it displays at the top of all pages, which is correct. However, when you view that banner topic it causes the entire background around post of the page to be blue.

At least, that’s what we worked out over at TDWTF; guess a Discourse dev should come in and confirm…
Nope, actually, it’s a CSS conflict with the box having class=banner, the topic being archetype=banner, and the archetype being added as a class to the topic.
