What is the simplest way to show last posts in WP?

I need to show the last N posts preview & link from discourse in my WP website.

• WP Discourse doesn’t to what I need: I don’t want to integrate WP and discourse, I just want to import last posts

• WP Discourse + WP Discourse Widgets doesn’t work (the plugin isn’t updated since 3 years)

• The twiganything solution I found on this forum isn’t supported anymore Twig Anything – Show any data from Discourse in Wordpress – an Open Source WordPress plugin

• Didn’t find any easy solution to easily show data from " latest.json "

Hi, you could do that with the latest rss feed . The feed is present at the same place in every forum
for example in meta -> Discourse Meta - Latest topics

Have you tried this? Embedding a list of Discourse Topics in another site

I used it for a while (not in Wordpress though) and it worked, though intermittently wouldn’t display quite right, so I now just use Discourse’s RSS feed.
