Oh man…this is very tempting.
Would really like to come up from Omaha and meet the tired and strung-out, super-programmers coming off their tour of Discourse programming duty.
The bar scene? That’s fine. It gets introverted programmers loosened up for real human conversations without avatars and emojis.

What was the turnout like? Anybody take pictures of the event?

The Discourse team was there in style, all much handsomer than could reasonably be expected.
I think they were outnumbered about 2 to 1 with fans from all over. No pictures that I know of, but the venue looks just like the picture above.
It was quite nice to meet the guys behind the project, and hear more about the history of Discourse.
