❌ is now 🔽 on tags and elsewhere

In the last few days, it seems :x: is now :arrow_down_small: on tags and elsewhere. Both on Meta and my own latest tests-passed site, using Chrome & Firefox.

Looks like a font/css problem, try reloading?

Also experiencing this. Haven’t changed the fonts.

Occurs on tags here on meta, and in /admin on our install.

So not sure how fonts would be involved?

Yeah I can repro, perhaps we should adjust this @eviltrout before the next beta release.

This was another one of those DPI issues. It happened when we ran a linter on our CSS and it didn’t get it exactly right. Here’s a fix:
