The discussion revolves around replacing the  icon in Reactions. anon48433008 initially used a script to replace the icon with a beer image, but encountered issues with the hover color and the color of reactions on the far left. Moin suggested enabling discourse reactions desaturated reaction panel and changing the color for ‘love’ in the color scheme, which solved the issue.
However, anon48433008 expressed concerns that changing the love color might affect other non-beer-related love items elsewhere. Moin clarified that disabling the discourse reactions desaturated reaction panel setting would allow the reactions on the far left to have color.
anon48433008 successfully applied the changes and got the desired result. They also inquired about modifying the :+1: icon, but decided not to due to potential risks.
anon48433008 later mentioned that changing the love color might not be a one-size-fits-all solution, as different icons might require different colors. They asked @Tris20 if they use beer and how they addressed the color issue.
I wasn’t sure when or where but suspected I’d see the general love color change come up somewhere else, this user profile instance is not bad as I can likely change the icon to beer
Not sure @JammyDodger splitting this as/where you did is a help especially with the title chosen, the problem was solved in the previous thread but the color was not addressed specifically to a change, beer is but one example with yellow as an example, I’m still doubting love color is a good one size fits all solution.
@Tris20 do you use beer and did you address color other than the general love setting?
