Hi, digest emails haven’t been sent from my forum and I’m not too sure why. Here are my digest email settings: [Screenshot 2024-06-14 at 12.43.43 pm] [Screenshot 2024-06-14 at 12.43.11 pm] And when searching “digest” in email logs nothing shows up. [Screenshot 2024-06-14 at 12.42.17 pm] If someone could help with this that would be amazing thanks!

Are there members that haven’t visited the site for a week? [image]Configuring Activity Summary emails Summary Frequency The Activity Summary is sent only when the member has not visited the forum, or been sent an email from the forum for a minimum period of time.

Yep, definitely over ~50-60 (could be in the 100s) since the forum was first launched

Did you check which frequency they choose in their preferences? You can also check these conditions: [image]Configuring Activity Summary emails Why isn’t Discourse sending an activity summary to a user who has the setting enabled? If the user has been active on the site, a summary has been sent recently, or their email has been bouncing, then they won’t be sent any activity summary. Inactive, suspended, or staged users will also not receive activity summaries. (If you’re still curious, you can see the full logic in the source code here ). The only other reason they wouldn’t receive the digest is if the user was created via the sync_sso route and has never visited the forum. See Summary emails, new users and SSO - #6 by simon for details about that.

Ohh, I created a new account and found that by default this option is turned off? [Screenshot 2024-06-17 at 11.34.40 am] Is there a way I can have this turned on by default for new users?

The setting is ‘default email digest frequency’. The configuration options are also explained in the Configuring Activity Summary emails.

Hmnm but mine is already set to “weekly” as seen in the screenshot attached. Could there be any other factors affecting this?

Is your forum https://forum.prosple.com? I just created an account there and the digest frequency is weekly by default. [Screenshot_20240617_101943_Chrome]

I deleted the account after taking the screenshot.

That’s alright, I will test on my end again. Thanks for the help!

Ohhh interesting okay, would it be too much to ask if I could check in with you in a week to see if you received an activity summary email?
