I’m looking to customize user badges on my Discourse forum to better fit my community’s engagement style. I’d like to create custom badge criteria beyond the default ones and possibly add unique icons.

Is there a recommended way to do this? Should I be using plugins, or is there a built-in method that I might have overlooked? Any guidance or best practices would be greatly appreciated!

In your admin panel if you look for badges you should see this:
