Should a deactivated user receive an email? - #21 by JammyDodger
The discussion addresses an issue where category and tag badges lose their color and become misaligned when displayed within quotes. JammyDodger and Moin provide screenshots showing the problem in both regular quotes and edit histories. Chapoi identifies the root cause as a CSS class difference between normal rendering and quote environments, suggesting it’s a styling issue. Saquetim confirms a fix is underway with a linked pull request. JammyDodger notes the fix resolves the issue in quotes, though some misalignment remains in edit histories, which are less prominent.

Also spotted this in edit history as well:

I don’t think this is a design issue, the “normal” rendering has different classes, including the one providing colour:
While the ones in the quote doesn’t and instead has some placeholder class on the parent
So think this is a cooking matter. @martin wdyt?
The PR below will address this issue.
It’s looking good for both categories and tags in quotes. ![]()
It’s still a bit wonky in the edit histories, but it’s more tucked out of the way in those.
