A user, rw_grim, reported that the discourse-chart plugin stopped rendering charts after a recent upgrade. They checked permissions and disk space but found no issues. tgxworld acknowledged the bug report but noted that the plugin is unofficial and likely broken. rw_grim expressed frustration, considering switching plugins. Arkshine submitted a pull request to fix the issue, which was merged by david. rw_grim thanked the contributors for the quick resolution.
I just noticed after upgrading my instance a few days ago that the chart plugin doesn’t render anymore. You can see on this post that there are large blank sections where the charts used to be but don’t show anymore.
I had a draft post in the works too that was using charts and that’s broke as well. I’ve tried updating everything, permissions under /var/discourselook fine, and there’s plenty of disk space, so I’m not sure what to look at next.
Thank you for the bug report. However, the discourse-chart plugin is not an official plugin and is not something we provide support for at the moment, and it is likely in a broken state.
