The discussion revolves around a bug in Discourse where email responses from Office 365 are not properly parsed, resulting in unwanted content being included in the response damianwilczek. The correct behavior should be for Discourse to remove the content between the two red lines, as shown in the images provided.
To troubleshoot the issue, sam requested confirmation of the latest version and a copy of the raw emails. damianwilczek confirmed the use of the latest version (v1.6.0.beta1 +20).
Despite the high priority of the issue for damianwilczek, zogstrip stated that the fix requires significant work and is not high priority. zogstrip estimated the fix to be implemented within a week or two but did not make any promises.
In subsequent updates, zogstrip confirmed that the issue is still on the to-do list, and damianwilczek inquired about the progress after five months. codinghorror suggested expediting the handling of the bug by purchasing a hosting contract.
