Some users don't recieve weekly summary

I don’t understand an error.
My settings are that every user get a weekly summary if he don’t come to the forum (recommanded settings)

It works but not for everyone

This user didn’t change her personal settings and she don’t recieve the summary
Last mail recieved : 23 days
Last visite the forum: 12 days
And there are new topics

Did I miss something?

I think each user can choose if they want the summary, or do not want it. From my preferences here on this forum:

It’s mentionned that:

But that may be ambiguous, if the default setting was not having summary enabled for users :stuck_out_tongue:

As show picture 1, I let the recommanded settings : weekly summary for everyone
Is it another general setting somewhere?

Two settings in total I suppose, that you mentioned in your post:

And

So, site settings, and individual user settings (which you can see in their profile as an admin).

Both settings are set to weekly summary. This is the individual setting for this user

Are the summaries correctly sent to other users? /admin/email/sent
Did the user check the spam folder? Do they receive other emails like notifications?
Is there anything suspicious in /logs, just in case?

As I see, here admin/email/sent users get the messages. I can’t check all but there are many
Discourse send only 1 mail 23 days ago to this user and she recieve (and open) it. It was not in the spams
Nothing special in the logs

When I’ve a look to other users, I see other errors

By “messages” you mean emails in general? Did your forum send digests to some users recently, or not at all?

Have you reviewed ALL the digest-related settings? /admin/site_settings/category/all_results?filter=digest

By messages, I mean Digest and Yes many recieve the digest and the Default email digest frequency is set on Weekly

@vin100 - is your instance self-hosted, and has it been kept updated? I ask because last year I ran into a bug that was fixed in a May 2024 update:

Thank you for your concern @ToddZ
My instance is on Digital Ocean and the mails are sent via DreamHost SMTP (where I’ve the domain, DNS…). Someone tell me it’s not a good solution, others says it’s OK with a little private community (less than 500) and not many interactions
Discourse is regularely update (at least every week).
From this morning the things seems better (why?). I’m monitoring and I’ve the feeling that things are getting back to normal.
