A user can't post with a poll in her copy

Hi, one of the users on Discourse can’t post a topic with a poll in her copy.
Do you know how to fix it ?

Are there any errors in the console to give a hint? What happens exactly when they click submit?

Thanks for the screenshot.

First thing to check is the poll_create_allowed_groups and the trust level of this user. Maybe they are TL0 or the setting has been changed to be more strict?

If not that, couple more questions:

  1. Is it only this user? Meaning, you for example, can post a poll in that category without any issues?
  2. To confirm: they can post the topic in the same category without the poll content?
  3. Could you ask them to look at the browser console for errors while they submit (can right click anywhere on the page > inspect > console tab)

Hi @chapoi , their TL is 1. Should I increase it maybe ?

I don’t know where to find the poll_create_allowed_groups, I don’t see anything similar in discourse.

1- This is the first user that tries other than me. But I able to post polls yes.

2- Yes they have been posting content without polls and it worked.

3- I’ll ask them.

Hm, you should find that in all-site-settings /admin/site_settings/category/all_results?filter=poll_create_allowed_groups

if the setting hasn’t been changed, this should be fine.

Hi @chapoi , thank you, confirming it’s set to TL 1, which does not explain why the user can’t create any :thinking:

I added on top of trust level 1 all the FR groups too !
