Is there the possibility to:

  • Share visibility between some groups or categories (eg. I have 10 groups/categories and I want 3 of them to be able the see each other’s topics)

  • Show all the topic list in the homepage but when someone opens a restricted thread gets the message “You’re not allowed to see this page”? This could be important when launching a new website

You might create another group that has access to all of the categories.

You want people to see lists of topics that they cannot access? I think that I’ve seen some plugins that do that, but they seems like a way to annoy users. Why know about things you can’t see?

Many sites to this (vbulletin), in order to show that there are active more active topics than what you see without registration
