Is there a way to prevent discourse login activation email to not land in spam? Need help urgently.
There are a couple of bits of info in this topic that may be useful - Activation emails go to spam, though not a concrete solution, I’m afraid.
Hopefully someone else has more specific insights.
It will depend upon your email provider and your own domain. If the provider’s IPs or ASN is classified as spam, there really is no other way than to just use a different email provider who takes spam seriously.
If your own domain name is classified as spam, You could try contacting the email services (Gmail/Outlook etc.) and try understanding the reason why you’re being marked as spam. You can also ask all your users to report the emails from your forums as “Not Spam” which alerts the spam filters of any false positives.
