It seems that there is no way to withdraw a vote once a vote has been cast. In the case of voting for a requested features on a product, it seems important for users to be able to freely assign their votes so they are able to update their preferences based on the current development focus.

Perhaps I’m misunderstanding your request, but you can easily remove you vote from a topic. Simply click on Voted, then X Remove vote

There is no way to make this more discoverable that is not obnoxious imo.
For me the confusion came from the fact that the button looked “disabled” once a vote was cast.
