Adding Undo edit post capability

I post something. Then I edit it. Then I change my mind and want to revert the edit: I think there should be an easy way to do this.

I am more sympathetic to reverting to an arbitrary prior version, for wiki posts.

I think it would be nifty and appealing, but not vital or necessary, if there were a way to revert a post to the first version. Maybe even a button in the revision history pages to restore it to that version, but I think just to the first would be a fairly interesting feature. There has been a time or two that I decided to fiddle with a post and then wished I hadn’t. Again, cool but not essential.

Very much this. It can be done manually with C’n’P but this is not elegant at all

This feature is now available:

Revert post to a specific revision

I just pushed a commit that will allow Staff to revert a post to a specific revision. [image] “Revert” button will appear at the bottom of every revision, clicking on this button will revert the post to that specific revision. Revert button will only be visible to staff, and reverting a post will create a new revision.
