I just noticed that API generated topics aren’t showing up in my sitemap and in the topic count report, is this to be expected when using the API to create topics or is it a bug?
Does it persist for more than 24 hours? Some stats are updated daily.
I’ll check the counts and sitemap tomorrow and let you know.
However, I did notice that the correct number of topics is reported in the user profile itself, just not in the admin reports.
Admin reports, sitemap (from the sitemap plugin), user leaderboards are examples of heavily cached data, which are updated in background jobs.
