Previous to the most recent versions of 1.7 beta, Audioboom embeds worked well using the whitelist function. They would just display the playable media embed.
However I’ve noticed that they now embed under the new ‘Onebox everything’ function differently - they just display the square post border and a link to the media like this:
Depends – if they are using variable height embeds, we can’t allow that, period. If the site is only for audio or video, then doing that kind of embed does make sense.
Yeah the site’s purpose is just audio in an HTML5 player that is supposed to be embedded in other sites (mostly news/radio etc).
It could be a coincidence that they’ve changed something at roughly the same time the Onebox process changed. I suppose the best way to test it is to fire up a pre-everything-being-oneboxed version and try it.
