Hmmm, yes. I can repro this. That is a little frustrating, especially on the long tag names.
Iāve been annoyed for so long time by this bug and am very surprised that it seems to annoy very few people. I experience it so often.
Searching for two # isnāt that rare for me, but maybe Iām just a search power user?
It has become even more annoying here on meta because Updating how categories are organized on Meta made entering simple categories much more difficult.
Before, I was using the autocomplete for welcome-link-banner and typed #bug without using the autocomplete. Now I need to type #contribute:bug manually for that because bug results in the tag.
