Badge grant job frequency, configurable?

The BadgeGrant job runs once per day, it would be great if we can up this a bit.
While I understand that for some large communities, this is a job best left during the off-season (e.g. 3am or so). I however, run a small community and I really don’t like the disconnect between actions and the badge being granted.

As an illustration, last run took half a second.

It would be great if there was an option to run this more often (e.g. every hour, or even every minute).

I think you’d need a custom plugin to do that.

What badge exactly you are talking about?

Custom ones have multiple triggers to choose from (every post, every like, etc) and a lot of default ones are triggered immediately (first edit, first like).

Example is the stock higher love badge, that one runs daily as far as I know.

But if you really want, you could create a similar badge that was triggered on every post, so you’d not need to wait.

Yeah, but I think a product based solution is better than me and all other people doing a workaround :slight_smile:
