Best approach to a landing page/payment front end

Newbie question here. I plan to use a discourse hosted plan for my private subscription community.

What is the best way to easily set up a front end website/landing page (I assume on a different server) that has information about the community and has the ability to take applications and subscription payments? I would like it to be a non-technical as possible.

Is there some standard setup that most people use in this instance (i.e., square space, wordpress, webflow ecommerce)? Or do people just do this somehow within discourse?

Discourse has a WordPress plugin that works pretty well.

So I have a WordPress site that uses the Paid Memberships Pro plugin to facilitate the membership/payment and then I have WordPress as the login provider for Discourse, which is really easy to set up.

But it has some technical aspects in editing either the WordPress functions.php file or creating a custom plugin for WordPress.

You could also use the subscriptions plugin to handle it directly within Discourse. That plugin is available on all hosted plans.
