Can Discourse be installed using Windows?

I’m using Debian for the installation, but I’m not very familiar with Linux. I read the documentation only for Linux systems. If the installation is complete, don’t do anything. If it runs on Windows, I can maintain it better.

You could (theoretically) install WSL and docker and work with it from Docker, but it’ll still use Linux under the hood, and you’ll likely still have to interact with Linux. The easiest way is to use it on Linux.

TL;DR: It’d just make things more complicated.

If you want to run a development installation, you can use Windows.

If you want to run a production server, you probably want to run it in the cloud. (Unless you are somewhere like a University that allows you to put your own machine on the internet, but I think that doesn’t happen much anymore.)
