i’ve the same issue with apple discussion forum
I think that message is probably accurate.
Unless something has changed recently I don’t think Apple discussions is built on Discourse. Did you see something which says it is?

oh i don’t think either but i need it for my work
i’ve googled it, no i haven’t seen such error as “not supporting in discourse”
Discourse Hub only supports sites which use Discourse.
As the Apple support communities use software other than Discourse I’m afraid it won’t work.
