Hello, for some reason myself (an admin) nor any of my users can change profile pictures/avatars despite “Allow users to upload custom profile pictures”, gravatar settings, and external system avatars being enabled. It all defaults to External System Avatars and only shows that as the singular option, per the image below.
Check your authorized extensions site setting. If you remove jpg, jpeg, and png from that list, users will not be given the option to upload a profile picture.
