Child/Parent/'Grandparent' tags?

I think the answer is ‘no’ but wanted to check: is there a way to create a three level hierarchy of tags? i.e. Child - Parent - ‘Grandparent’ (and possibly beyond)

Have read @neil tag guide so understand how to create Parent-Child relationship. Can this be extended up/down to allow a third level of tag nesting?

This would help me keep what could be a large set of tags more orderly and less confronting for the user.

Yes, I think that grandparent tags are possible and work using the instructions in that guide. I tested with this simple schema using only two tag groups:

Child tag groups look like this:

Parent tag groups look like this:

It’s not necessary to create a group for the grandparent tags.
