We are using the private support category to manage support emails using this feature, Configuring incoming email to create new topics or group messages
We have a support email address at our domain. support@example.com
However, for email to appear in the category users would need to email: example-category-id@discoursemail.com
I need the workflow to be like this:
- User send email to support@example.com
- New topic appears in our support category
- We use Discourse to reply
- Discourse sends response email to user
- Further discussion can continue via email

- Do you expect email forward to work in this use case? For example, all email we get at support@example.com we forward to example-category-id@discoursemail.com
- Will this allow our support team to reply in discourse and the client receive and email?
