Ctrl-Shift-I Not Opening Inspector on Meta

Apologies if this is off-topic… CtrlShiftI is not working for me to open the Chrome Inspector (also in Firefox), but only on Meta Discourse Forum, and only when I’m logged in.

Anyone have any ideas why this might be happening?

I think that’s the keyboard shortcut to open the Templates menu, so may take precedence on a site with it enabled (even if not everyone has access to use them).

Hmm… I can see that when the Composer is open that it opens up composer templates. But it’s happening even without the Composer open… (?)

You can also right-click any part of the page and select Inspect to open the page inspector

Or press F12, depending on the browser… But a Discourse shortcut shouldn’t override an OS shortcut if Discourse’s context doesn’t allow this shortcut, as it seems to be the case here. It might be worth an ux topic.

You can use Templates in any text area, not just posts/composer. They’re pretty nifty.
